Who We Are
Indonesian Family Church (IFC) Sydney was birthed by 8 (eight) young people from Indonesian Family Church Perth (now known as Oikos Church).
These young people felt the burden to minister to their generation at the time.
They started a home gathering (Oikos group) which by the grace of God gradually grew and then became a church on 16 July 1999.
Meet Our Leaders
PS. DANIEL & KAREN ONG
Senior Minister / Pastor, Indonesian Family Churches
Daniel Ong is the Senior Minister/Pastor and founder of Indonesian Family Churches that now has congregations in Perth (Oikos Church), Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Indonesia (Gereja Oikos Indonesia).
He was called for full time ministry when he was 18 years old. He started ministering in childern ministry, teens and youth group in Indonesia. He is married to Karen Ong and has two sons, Gershom and Eizer.
Daniel and Karen were originally from Jakarta, Indonesia and migrated to Perth to serve God's calling in their life. Daniel has a motto in his ministry, "To maximize God's gift in life until the time to meet God".
PS. BERNARD LARSO & SANDRA LIOE
Lead Minister / Pastor, IFC Sydney
Bernard Larso started his ministries in 2004 under Grace Victory Ministries when God gave him a vision about nations coming to worship The King. In early 2015 he decided to leave his career in music as an arranger, songwriter as well as educator and migrated to Australia to fulfil God's vision.
At the moment, together with his wife Sandra Lioe which he married in 1999, they are pastoring IFC (Indonesian Family Church) in Sydney, Australia. His focus in the ministry is to bring believers to realise who they are in Jesus and who Jesus truly is in their lives thus bring them back to operate in the power and authority in Christ Jesus.
Furthermore, God has also revealed to him the truth about divine healing and the knowledge of the kingdom, and how it works, so that believers can receive what God has given and have boldness to operate in the realm God has prepared: the heavenly kingdom realm.
His teaching can be found at his YouTube channel: Bernard Larso Online, and Instagram: @faith4victory
